The talk entitled “Towards Trustworthy Autonomous Systems for a Safer Society: Reference Taxonomy and Digital Twins” has been selected and held today by Prof. Francesco Flammini at the It’s About People conference (IAP’24 – In Service of Sustainability and Dignity, The 12th Annual Conference of Europe’s Sciences and Arts Leaders and Scholars, 8-13 March 2024, Maribor, Slovenia), organized by the European Academy of Sciences and Arts and Alma Mater Europaea.
This outreach event was meant to make people more aware of the main concepts and challenges related to self-x technologies, and the role that novel paradigms such as digital twins can play in making intelligent systems safer following a human-centric approach.
During the subsequent discussion in the same panel, the session chairman, Prof. Matej Mertik, fostered a fruitful cooperation between the IDSIA TAS group and the Applied Artificial Intelligence PhD program at Alma Mater Europaea, which would be very much welcome!
